Winchester Flute Choir play a wide variety of well known classical music, musicals, film scores, light entertainment and classic pop. See videos below for a selection of music from various concerts and events playing with other choirs and music groups.
Some members of Winchester Flute Choir performed and took part in workshops at the Birmingham Flute Choir Festival on 2nd March 2024.
The video shows different flue choirs from all over the UK performing Birmingham Tango, which was written as a warm-up piece for a group of over 150 flautists, and specially written for the Birmingham Flute Choir Festival. The enjoyable element of this piece is that everybody gets a chance for melodic material and there is plenty to work on in terms of dynamics, articulation and style.
